Christians needed to disciple/minister to inmates in California state prisons.

These inmates (and many more) need someone to write to them:

* G.E. - Wrote “God knows that I am in real good need of a friend.”

* Don W - He wrote, “I’m seeking a friend, penpal, Bible study partner, etc.”

* Edmund L –Is not sure what he believes about God. Has a Native American philosophy. Only knows the street life, but can now see that it is an illusion without substance. He said that the Bible scriptures we sent him have been a source of “great pleasure, comfort, and enlightenment." Let’s send him more

* Braulio - He thinks being a Christian is the hardest struggle he has ever had to face. He wrote, “I’m trying to let go of old ways and follow God, but I keep falling. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I’m so used to living a certain way.” Can you help him on his walk?

* David - A new believer who needs encouragement. He got saved at a Kairos Weekend in prison on March 18-21, 2010!!! He is now enrolled in The Purpose Driven Life classes and is attending chapel. He is 38 years old and serving a life sentence.

* Yafeu - A Christian elder who has been in prison since 1975. He was 1 of 64 inmates to take part in the Pelican Bay Speaks Project. Has been in isolation for a long time.

* Fernando – An inmate from Fresno who is paroling soon. We don’t know much about him, but he asked for a list of churches in Fresno County.

Our ministry sent a Salvation Bible study into the Pelican Bay SHU, and we were flooded with responses from inmates who wanted to learn more about Jesus. (Or are already saved and would like Christian fellowship).

Please write to Matthew25.36Ministries@yahoo.com and let us know how many inmates you would like to write to and we will send you their contact information. Tell us a little about your walk!

Volunteers - Please keep in contact with us! We are spending too much time following up with the volunteers. It is ok to change your mind and decide that you no longer want to write. (There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus). But not telling us hurts the inmate!

"Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners."
Hebrews 13:3.
