<![CDATA[For sale is a lightly used 2009 Diamondback Recoil full suspension mountain bike. I have had this bike for 3 months and it has been ridden only a few times on trails. I am selling it because the medium sized frame (18'') is too small for me as I am 6'2" and the medium frame is suitable for a person that is 5'7'' to 5'11". It has extras that you won't find on other brand bikes for the same price, such as disc brakes, upgraded rims and tires and Shimano components. The SR Suntour forks are a little spongy compared to the rear shock, which is far more adjustable; the bike is also a little on the heavy side. Other than the above mentioned I think that this is a great full suspension starter bike for the price. It certainly beats all others in it's price range. Since it’s on the heavy side , this bike is best for those who want to get in the sport of mountain biking and like to settle in and enjoy the scenery on long climbs. When gravity takes over, you'll find the Recoil a competent descender. It's a great rig to get started on, as well as a worthy frame to upgrade with. Its more of an all-mountain trail rider and is perfect for a person who wants to get the taste of a full suspension bike. This bike was serviced yesterday at the Pedaler in El Sobrante and has brand new tires from Bontrager. I spent extra to get pro grade tires and inner tubing so this bike is a great deal for anybody. I hate to see this go but I can't ride it anymore. It's good for kids from 10 to 16. Has dual shock absorbers in the front and has a spring in the back for smooth rides. I am 6ft and fits me very well. I just put new bar tape on it. it has new brake pads as well. It used to be a regular road bike, but I converted it to a single speed. (One of my friends is a bike mechanic). It has new tires, wheels, crank. The rack does not come with the bike. Unless you want the whole bike for 170 instead (Hey its free install if you want it). Otherwise, I'll take it off. This is a great bike for beer runs, BIKE PARTY, or just cruising around town. It could use a slight tune up, but its never been worth it to me, as it still works well. Cassette changed from 12/27 to 11/23. CroMolly railed seat was changed for Ti-rail seat, and one tire / tube replaced.</h3> Bike has approx 700 miles. I can’t say it’s absolutely perfect, 10 out 10, but I will say it’s as close to perfect, 9.99 out of 10, ... as a used bike gets. This bike is the most amazing road bike I’ve ever owned.
