We have 3 kids under the age of 6, and she is a take charge individual who treats our children with respect, patience, plays endlessly with each, effectively uses discipline and loves them as her own. She comes in and knows what to do, and simply takes charge. Among some of her responsibilities with our family include: Plans calendar of activities for the week Drives children to/from school, activities, play-dates, parties Creates play activities/imaginary play, outside playtime and games, read books, art projects, field trips Prepares healthy meals and cleanup Tidy the house... either we have a messy one or she is obsessed. Our house is always neat because of her! Does kids laundry, bedding and towels Runs occasional errands (i.e. Milk, B-day present, kids' prescriptions) Other details: She is English speaking Now she is available MORNINGS till 11.30am or NIGHTS after 7pm and OCCASIONAL WEEKENDS (open to NANNY SHARE as well) She is fairly flexible if you are needing her to arrive early/stay late due to meetings, etc. She has a CA driver's license and clean driving record She is trustworthy, thoughtful, hard working, loyal and intelligent! She has experiences with kids with special needs: (autism, rett syndrome...)with triplets, multiple families, infants, toddlers... Times will be from aprox 8am-10:15/11:15am depending on the day. We will also need some mornings in April but are unsure of what mornings they will be so flexibility in your schedule is a huge plus. Someone living in Alameda is also a big plus. Car is not needed and we are easily accesible by bus. Must be able to pass a background and criminal check, CPR/first aid certified prefered, and atleast 3 local references. About our son: he is a very well behaved, happy child. He is teething at the moment though so patience is a neccesity as he can get uncomfortable and upset. He is also on antibiotics for an ear infection, but it is not contagious and ability to administer medicine a plus. Mornings will consist of feeding him breakfast and a bottle, playing and interacting with him, practicing sign language with him (there are flash cards) and possibly putting him down for a nap.
