I'm loving the fact that I can take all kinds of pictures and not have to pay for film processing anymore and that I can actually see the picture I took before leaving the scene. I enjoy taking photos of nature scenery, landscapes, city skylines, small town atmosphere but more interestingly is people in action. People walking, talking, biking, working and anything that shows life in human form. I've gotten some good advise from people here on Craigslist and it has allowed me to improve my skills. Want to learn different techniques to improve my skills so any advise is welcomed. Would like to try photographing couples in the moment situations like hand in hand, walking side by side, fun at the beach, by candlelight, or whatever interesting event should happen to come along. I think it's fun to capture people's expression instead of just posing for the camera. What do you think? However, I'm unfulfilled in many ways and I'm trying to see what else is out there. I know, this may very well make me a jerk or whatever...if that's your impression, no worries. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy going out and having fun, but I tend to go for things more laid back and relaxing (read: not "local band" concerts, clubs, etc.). Staying home with a beer/wine and watching a movie is fantastic as well. I love sports, talking bluntly, and witty sarcasm. Politics/all that nonsense is fair game, but I'm really not interested in hearing purely emotionally-based rants or saving the world one tree at a time. Yeah, I'm interested in hearing what you have to say, of course, but if you like to hear yourself talk, then we're probably not going to be running away together to Barbados anytime soon. I tend to get along with "middle of the road" people, i.e. not completely art/creativity-centric, but not necessarily commercialism/results-centric either. I've found that people who label themselves as "open-minded" (and there's many in the area lol) are almost always some of the most close-minded people I meet. Well, yeah, that's me. I'm a non-denominational Christian and do not believe in organized religion. I'm a very happy go lucky guy. 100% Irish (no red hair lol), but love a nice Guinness once in a while. I don't party (meaning go to clubs or a show) but once or twice a month if that. I'm trying to get my life back on track. I LOVE to be goofy, and I enjoy every day. <![CDATA[I need advice on how I should handle or go about dealing with a situation regarding a informal loan, street loan if you might call it. I am a 25 year old student, a female who recently was in an auto accident which left me with a slight concusion, multiple contusions, cracked pelvis and three broken ribs, in which I was hospitalized for and in that time I had to cover an immediate costs till insurance covered costs completely for two thousand dollars or they would be forced to discharge me from the hospital, but I'm not working at the moment because I'm a full time student two thousand isn't something I carry on hand so I directed my roommate/best friend towards a person who I thought was a close business mentor/friend which for the sake avoiding confusion I'll call "X", in hopes he would guide or advise my roommate what to do as if he were me, with my best interest in mind. I said " ask him if he can help, lend you some money or whatever?" whatever in terms though of practical limitations. I was delighted the next day to hear from my doctor that the bill was paid and I could stay, until I was told from my roommate how he got the money, "X" knows my financial situation, but for some reason the help he offered was a loan from a loan shark with a fifteen percent interest rate every week!!!! are you serious !, as soon as I finally feel strong enough to get up a day after I get out of the hospital I pay "x" a visit in concern and panic of how I was going to pay this ridiculous loan back in which "X" had to ideas or suggestions, but to become a prostitute which was outrageous and insultingly disrespectful. I left out the part of when my roommate took out the loan, "X" said the loanshark wants you to sign this stating the roommate is responsible for the loan. Due to all the chaos and urgency for the money mindlessly he didn't get a copy of what he signed, stupid. He had good intent though he just wanted me to get better. In the meantime since then I've made two payments, so far but I ve been harrassed threatened every week from "X" stating the loan shark needs his interest this week or else but never calls the room mate, room mate is immature which is horrible if hes not going to grow up for his own life and be responsible whats going to kick him out of gear for this situation I'm not going to bank on it. But for some reason because the loan was for me I can't help to feel ungrateful if I don't attend to it, its getting worst now, "X" no longer really calls me he had another one of his friend who has a reputation of disrespecting women "won't hesistate to sock a bitch" attitude he states the loanshark is his friend and "x" came to him to contact the loanshark. He's been harrassing me to the point, h's even wrote comments on my facebook page threatening me, and demanding I pay or else. I offered to meet up with him to find out the detail negotiate and cut to the chase, in which he refused and said the only time we should meet up is ti make a payment or payoff the loan. Texts are explicit, stating I'll find you and when I do it's going to be bad. Two thousand honestly isn't a huge amount of money, its achievable but is this all necessary?]]>
