The unit is an end unit, and has a balcony, and a full size washer and dryer. I also have a walk in closet. I cant afford my rent anymore, and would like someone to take over. Jeff, a freelance writer, also works as a word processor for a class action law firm. Together, we've been incredibly happy here in Bernal Heights but enjoy traveling--we spent a month in Buenos Aires a few years ago and really enjoyed having the extended time to get to know the city. <br> <br> So while we're spending the month of October in New York, we'd like you to stay in our lovely apartment right in the heart of Bernal Heights. Our unit is a two bedroom apartment--with one of the bedrooms converted to an office--in a seven unit building (that survived the 1906 earthquake!), and is spacious, clean, airy, and safe. It has a large kitchen area, bathroom, living room and back work area. (We also have a large, comfy inflatable bed in case you want to use the office as a second bedroom.) <br> <br> Although we’ve never shelled out for cable, we’ve got high speed wi-fi running through the entire apartment on a secure network. Who needs the boob tube when you’ve got YouTube? There's access to a backyard area with grills and barbecues, perfect for relaxing in the sunny weather. (Trade secret: we actually have that in Bernal Heights!) <br> <br> We're right off Precita Park in Bernal Heights, with convenient street parking, easy access to public transit, and a ten minute walk to BART. We’re within walking distance of all the great shops, restaurants, and bars in the Mission District, as well as the developing 24th Street corridor, home to foodie faves like Humphry Slocombe (which got great reviews in the New York Times recently) Dynamo Donuts and Philz Coffee. We’re near Noe Valley, and the entrance to highways 280 & 101 are about 10 blocks away, giving you easy access to the East Bay, San Jose, and Half Moon Bay. <br> <br> Also, Cortland Street—one of the best streets in San Francisco as far as neighborhood, community, and wonderful shops—is just on the other side of Bernal Hill (which boasts one of the best views of the city and is a popular walking/jogging spot). And of course, this is part of San Francisco, with all of her obvious charms, in which is nestled Bernal Heights, described as "one of the best small towns, hidden inside one of the best large cities, in America." <br> <br> The rent is $2,200 and covers all utilities.
