Trek 5200 carbon frame and carbon fork. Measures 58cm center to center on seat tube and 62cm from center to top. Top tube measures 58cm center to center. I am 5' 10" and I can stand over it with 0 clearance. I have a 30" in seam. You need to be taller than me. This will really look sharp when built up. It is really light, headset included. Also included is a real smooth octalink bottom bracket which I should keep but Aaron will charge me $15 to take it out so I decided to just leave it in. I can give you a stem and handlebars if you remind me. The new price of $350 is firm. If only it were smaller I would love to keep it. If it were a 54 or 55 you could never get it away from me. Oh well. However, I would swap for a similar smaller frameset. **** **** *
Please leave a local phone number for a reply, if you are seriously interested (as I am really tired of all the spam I get cause of advertising here. I win millions of British Pounds and get offers for business partnerships from Russia and Africa. Do they actually find people who will send them a deposit to collect their winnings?)
*
The nice pictures really broke up when I loaded them here. Someday I'll learn how to get better pix into CL.
This has been a great bike in the past - used to be taken on trails (Tiger Mtn) as well as ridden on regular bike trails (Marymoor bike Trail, Green River Bike Trail). I have an older Trek Millenium bike that needs a little TLC (tuneup), but that runs great otherwise. It has a rear pannier rack and is ready to place a moped kit on. I purchased the moped kit, but never took the time to actually install it. If you are even slightly mechanically inclined, this could be a fun late summer project. The moped kit cost me $150 so I figure who ever buys this will be getting a moped kit for a discount and a bike for FREE ;). I am open to reasonable offers, but serious inquiries ONLY. Thanks for looking!
Trek 5900 OCLV Carbon road bike. Looks more purple or more blue, depending on the light. Very good condition and recent rebuild from the frame up. I am a long time seasoned mechanic and maintain the highest standards possible. I built this up for my wife and she did a century on it and then let it sit for a year... She really appreciates it but simply is not into drop bars at all or the road bike fit. She prefers to ride her Cannondale bad boy or her BMC mountain bike with 700c wheels in it. So, here is a nice kit on a frame that is light (1200g), strong and all-day comfortable. Kit is as follows:

Y2K oclv frame and fork 150gsm carbon - very comfortable compared with 120/110 or 55gsm material and almost as light but still stiffer than you need in a 54cm size. American made. Trek's construction is flawless and this will last a long time. I have three other OCLV bikes of my own and can attest that they can take really take tremendous abuse and just keep rolling. This frame has never seen that much action and can be equally at home in a crit or on a leisurely group ride. The geometry is good - 54.4cm top tube, 73 degree head tube, 73.7 degree seat tube, 410mm chainstay. Classic mix of performance geometry without sacrificing comfort or stability. Quick and responsive without being the "squirrel on crack" that so many modern frames deliver. Down the road if you really wanted to race this the last item you might replace would be the fork with an Easton EC90SL. That would lower the crown to axle distance 2mm and that would quicken things up plus save another 1/3lb overall. If the Mrs. had been into it I would have done that too. Surprisingly, the original fork rides very well compared with new offerings, it just has a metal crown and steerer.

These are the components that have only 105mi on them:
Shimano Ultegra 6600 10sp integrated Shifters
Shimano Dura Ace 7800ss rear derailleur - does have a small scuff from bike falling over
Shimano Ultegra 6500bz front derailleur - needed to fit compact (and this one holds up far better than the 6600 model)
Bontrager Race X Lite carbon crank and BB (618g!) - 34/50 teeth 172.5mm length with FSA 50T ring (great crankset but the stock big ring had a fragile chrome coating that peeled almost immediately)
Shimano Ultegra 6500 brake calipers
Bontrager wheels - Race lite rear and select front
Bontrager Race X Lite 700x23mm tires w/kevlar bead and light specialized tubes
Shimano Ultegra 6600 12-27 tooth 10sp cassette with alloy lockring
Bontrager carbon seatpost 27.2mm
Syncros Ti railed saddle - but several to chose from or test ride on
White Cinelli gel tape - never stays white for long but matches the syncros saddle

Original parts (only a few):
Chris King Nothreadset 1" silver
Seat clamp - silver alloy
Bontrager Race handlebar 40cm (42.4cm outside to outside), stem 80mm/7 degree

No pedals included but can find some if you need - a lot of parts in the garage
This is a good deal for a very nice riding bike that weighs in under 18lbs w/o pedals

Email or call me to arrange test ride, etc.

Eric 206-517-8100
I purchased the bike at Redmond Cycle in May of this year for 899.00 (Normally 1,100.00). I upgraded the pedals to a more functional Shimano PD-M324 SPD Dual Platform Pedal (84.99), and a CatEye Micro Wireless computer (64.00). My intention was to ride, ride, ride but I just don't have the time. I have put a whopping 10 miles of street riding on the bike. It has not been on any trails and am fairly certain that there is not even a scratch on the bike. It is that nice! I also added a rear rack to it. I hate to part with it but I will also be moving to a smaller place and need as much room as possible. The following are the specs on the bike: (As mentioned, the pedals have been replaced)

Frame tubing: Kona 7005 All-Mountain Aluminum Butted
• Rear Shock: NA
• Fork: RockShox Tora XC 100mm
• Headset: TH
• Crankarms: FSA Moto
• Chainrings:44/32/22
• B/B: FSA MegaExo
• Pedals: Shimano M505 Clipless
• Chain: Shimano Deore
• Freewheel: Shimano Deore (11-32, 9spd)
• Front Derailleur : Shimano Deore
• Rear Deraillieur : Shimano XT Shadow
• Shifters: Shimano Deore
• Handlebar: Kona XC/BC Riser
• Stem: Kona XC/BC
• Grips: Kona Race Light
• Brakes: Shimano M575 Hydraulic Disc
• Brake Levers: Shimano M575 Hydraulic
• Front Hub : Formula Disc
• Rear Hub : Shimano M475 Disc
• Spokes : Sandvik Stainless 15g fr/14g rr
• Tires: Maxxis Ignitor 26x2.1
• Rims: Sun Black Eye
• Saddle: WTB Speed V Comp
• Seatpost: Kona XC/BC
• Seat clamp: Kona QR

I'm selling a vintage Raleigh International ten-speed road bike. The frame is pretty large and should accommodate people 5'9" or taller (34" from the ground to the top of the top tube). It's extremely light-weight and very fast. The original Campagnolo derailleurs and Weinmann brakes are still on it and the bike shifts easily and smoothly through all of the gears. The rims are not the originals. There is some rust on the frame (see pictures) but the frame is solid with no cracks. I'm asking $300 cash, no trades please. Will fit anyone between 5'10" and 6'4". Like the label says, it's handmade in Taiwan - check the build quality on the hand finished welds. With a long wheelbase, a bailout gear on the triple chainring, lots of clearance for fat tires and fenders, and the Zertz inserts on the Specialized carbon fork, this is a very comfortable ride that keeps the light weight and fantastic power transfer of aluminum always on tap. Without breaking the bank the way full carbon will. Extra touches include 175mm crankarms for some decent leverage and range of motion for the long legged set, comfy Specialized Milano ergonomic saddle, exceptionally comfortable backswept ergonomic handlebars with adjustable angled stem, cylocross brake levers for a little extra peace of mind, and, of course, Mavic Aksium Race wheelset.

Freshly tuned by a skilled professional. Pedals are up to you, tires still have some decent life.

Feel free to test ride before you buy, bring your driver's license for collateral.

Call or email with questions or to arrange appointment. Can also help with repairs on gear you already own.
As always, if you wish to haggle politely, make me laugh, offer partial trade etc. I will happily consider your offer, especially when you buy multiple items.
AND
Money + kindness and courtesy talks, rudeness walks.
Search my phone number for additional listings.

Ken
206-992-2548

Bicycle Trainer- Kreitler Alloy Rollers

This is a fantastic way to keep your peak riding form through the winter. I’ve used these for several years and they’re in fine condition. The frame has minor cosmetic blemishes and the rollers have glossy bands near their centers but mechanically this rig glides as beautifully as ever. This is a full kit with the most popular accessories. I’ll let Kreitler describe it:

From http://www.kreitler.com/

The Alloy 4.5 Rollers are the flagship of the Kreitler line. Beautifully machined and perfectly balanced, the Alloy 4.5’s are the quietest and smoothest rollers on earth. Some would call the Alloy 4.5’s the “Rolls Royce” of rollers. We tend to agree.
Part # KT-10003
MSRP $499

The Flywheel is a simple, heavy device to add rotating mass to your Kreitler Rollers. Running off a belt connected to the rear drum of your rollers, the Flywheel creates a more natural road-like feel to riding rollers. Getting up to speed takes a little more effort, and momentary interruptions to your pedaling do not slow you down as much.
Part # KT-36000
MSRP $135

The Killer Kool Headwind Fan is an adjustable resistance unit that runs off a belt coming from the front drum of your Kreitler Rollers. The Headwind Fan has several functions. The main function is to add resistance. An adjustable air inlet controls the amount of resistance desired. When closed, the additional resistance is minimal. Wide open, the resistance is high enough for even the strongest riders. The second function is to provide a cooling breeze. The Fan unit can be rotated to point the airflow high or low, and adjustable louvers can fine tune the side-to-side direction. Staying cool will make your workouts more enjoyable and is less stress on your body. The Fan attaches to the front left side of the Frame. You can also direct the airflow away from you if desired.
Part # KT-15000
MSRP $168

The Fork Stand 4.5 bridges the gap between rollers and trainers. With the Fork Stand, you have the option of using your Kreitler Rollers without having to focus constantly on your balance. For maximum effort intervals, single-leg drills, or sharing your rollers with someone who doesn’t want the challenge of riding rollers, the Fork Stand is perfect. Two heights are available depending on the size drum you have. Heights are based on the Standard Kreitler Frame. The Fork Stand can be used with the Kompact Frame, but your bike will be slightly lower in the back than the front.
Part # KT-20000
MSRP $99

Grand total new: $499+$135+$168+$99 = $901 Yours for $275!

We bought this cool recumbent a few years ago for our daughter who was having balance issues due to a medical condition. She loved this bike and had a lot of fun on it until she moved up to a standard two wheeler. Then our neighbor borrowed it for her son when he broke his arm. This worked great for him also. If you're a recumbent family or just someone who wants something a little different this is the bike for you. I took the following information from the trailmates.com website.

The pivoting seat provides all-out fun and an exciting ride. Features rugged durability, heavy-duty steel frames, plus some of the coolest styling available in a recumbent.
