<![CDATA[I am a local licensed, organic and green daycare provider, who is looking for a little more input on what parents are looking for these days. I haven't had to advertise for a while and have two new openings in my lovely home. All meals are homemade (meet or exceed the USDA standards) including baby food, which is pureed from organic fruits and vegetables. I use cloth diapers (included in my pricing) as well as all green cleaners. My rates are roughly equal to the pricing from DSHS and WCCC for washington state assistance. There are 2 teachers, one of which has a BA in early childhood education as well as stars credits and continuing hours. Both teachers have been fingerprinted by the Washington state patrol, have complied to background checks, both have first aid/CPR certifications for infants, children and adults, and have been through blood borne pathogens training. I am licensed for 6 children, however have no more than 5 present at any time, only two of which are infants, making the ratio roughly 1 teacher to 2.5 kiddos. Quite frankly I'm sick and tired of cats roaming in my yard, killing birds and then leaving the bodies laying around, or pissing all over the stuff on my front porch. I shouldn't have to clean up after someone else's cat period! And if you really cared about your cats you wouldn't let them roam the neighborhood to get hit by a car, breed or worse, you'd keep them in your home where their safe or have them in a dog run outside to keep them confined to your yard. Instead you let them roam free where they could get hurt, add to the over population of cats, and I won't even get into the terrible accidents they cause to people when they decide to dash across the road. Letting your cats roam is just as disrespectful and the neighbors dogs roaming the neighborhood and quite frankly the rules applied to dogs need to apply to cats also. I have three cats, I love them, they are strictly indoor only but I have hooked up a dog run to the house so that they can be outside, not cause harm to people and animals and It's respectful to my neighbors. Volunteer for the Humane Society, your local shelter, or rescue groups…they need people that can take animals into their home for a short period of time until space opens up for that animal or they are become more socialized (and more adoptable). That way you can try out a variety of sizes and breeds…and if you don’t have time one week or are too stressed by other committments, you just won’t taken in an animal for that period of time...and can go back when you’re ready again. I used to foster cats for the Humane Society and I loved it (even when it was hard to give the kitty back when they were ready for adoption). PLEASE, if you're not ready to fully commit to animal ownership (and all of the responsibilities that come with that opportunity), do NOT bring an animal into your life that you would get rid of at the drop of a hat. When we moved it include our 6 kids, the 6 year old girl we were legal guardians to, our 2 dogs and 3 cats, my 6 foot boa constrictor along with some feeder mice and my 1100 pound horse. WE ALL MOVED! None of my kids and none of my pets suffered 'torture' by being moved corss country. DID YOU KNOW THAT ONLY 1 out of 12 cat ever finds their forever home? Now you're throwing your cat into that equation. I'VE GOT NEWS FOR YOU: Moving with your pets is as easy (or even easier) than moving with your kdis! AS FOR THE ADDITIONAL EXPENSE OF MOVING WITH PETS: Just have a couple yard sales each year and set the money aside for 'pet moving expenses.' It's that simple....and you say you don't want to 'torture' you pet by moving it? She's very sketchy at first when she's around other animals, she's been around other cats and dogs but not for long periods of time. Her name is Boots, and knows her name well. She is a year and a half old, and is a calico cat. She is licensed, up to date on shots, and spayed. I have paperwork I can also give you. She will come with Food, food scoop and container, litter box, plus scooper, auto water and food feeders, and a mat for her food to sit on. Also a cat climb toy, a small one. I LOVE children, it's my passion working with them. I have no children of my own so your child(ren) will get my undivided attention. I will not park your children in front of TV or video games all day, I will pick up age appropriate school work for preschool age children & have fun lesson plans everyday that work for your child! With me caring for your children you can be excited to come home each day to a clean house & be a proud parent as your child shows you the new things they learned that day in our "home school" time! I have no problem doing the cleaning involved the children, cleaning up after the meals I cook for them, helping with their laundry, etc. For extra pay I have no problem doing all the household duties. My last family considered me not just the nanny but their "household manager" as I did all the shopping, cleaning, etc.... What they say they loved about that is they got to come home, relax and spend quality time with their kids rather than fuss about cleaning & getting groceries and all the other things that need to be done around the house! I have great references to be provided upon interview. I am able to get certified through DSHS however I do expect the family to pay above what they pay out of pocket in order to add up to my requested salary. My rates are those of a NANNY. I am not a babysitter. Big difference in the care, love and attention your children receive and the household work that gets done, you'll see :-) I have a safe care & insurance. No drugs, I don't even drink. I DO smoke cigarettes but outdoors only :-( . Willing to care for your children at your house or mine. I do have 2 small dogs at my home. My requested salary is $11 per hour plus $2 per additional child. I require salary pay & prefer weekly. Makes it easier on everybody. A little bit more per hour for extra household duties such as shopping, and cleaning the house rather than just cleaning up after the children.
