They have a 2 yr & 4 yr old boys that live with them and 3 paternal children that come on the weekends and holidays. He's about 2 months old, just got potty trained (He'll whimper at the door, but you gotta be quick!). Has been trained not to bite or jump, or chew on things. He also sleeps through the night. <![CDATA[I'm driving from Seattle to California (specifically Modesto, but I might head straight for the Bay, and will be going through Tacoma, Olympia, Portland, Eugene, Grant's Pass, Redding, etc, etc, etc. If you're in any of these towns (or near-by) and going South, let me know! I drive a small truck (a Ford Ranger) that gets excellent gas mileage (somewhere around 25 MPG; I got to Portland on a little under half a tank). I'll be moving, so will have a good amount of stuff in the back, but there'll be plenty of room for your stuff too. My bed has a canopy, so it's covered from wind/rain/other weather. My cab is an extended cab. We can fit 5 people (including myself) in somewhat cramped conditions (two jump seats in back, two full seats and one half seat in front). That would make Gas to California insanely cheap, and I'd be willing to do that. But we don't have to! I'm driving down whether or not I fill my cab (unfortunately). I'm asking folks to split gas with me. I'm not charging any kinda fee. If I drove directly from my house to the house I'm moving, it'd be 852 miles. Let's call it 20 mpg to be conservative, that's 42.6 gallons of gas, at $2.00 a gallon we're looking at $85.20 for the trip. Now, that calculation will be off a bit, so I'm going to call it $100 for the trip, divided between myself and whoever rides with me. 5 people in the cab, that's $20 per person. 2 people in the cab, that's $50 per person. Let's make it happen. My truck's stick, and a little janky (no cruise control). I'll probably drive the whole way. You could too if you're hella rad, and I get really tired, but we'll see. I don't speed, and I don't want you speeding in my truck. That means that yes, it'll take longer to get there, but that I won't be pulled over, and we'll get better gas mileage. I'm probably looking to leave around the 12th to the 15th, I still have to shore up the plans. <![CDATA[My daughter bought a short-haired, female guinea pig last year, named it Bear-bee, and soon after decided it is too noisy for her (as guinea pigs are!) and too much responsibility. It has black and orange bands-- black in the front and rear, orange in the middle (kinda like a bee), and an orange and black face. She has been handled, but is still shy and jittery (loves to hide in her house inside the cage). She has never bit anyone. We have always fed her rabbit food (we also have pet rabbits) as well as an ample supply of fresh vegies and grass (she LOVES fresh grass!!!). She does not like the store-bought treats. We have an older, smallish cage you are welcome to have (1 ft high, 1 ft deep, and 2 feet long) for her. $20 adoption fee includes the cage, food container, and water bottle.]]>
