You keep flagging posts for paid work. If you really have that much of a problem with getting work that you have to flag every paid job so you can be the only one to apply, then you shouldn't be doing this.

Stop flagging paid work, It's pretty pathetic.

I’m an independent filmmaker looking for a DP and crew for an all-digital documentary. This project will follow the creation of a community garden in Tacoma, and will be affiliated with (though not funded by) a local non-profit land conservation organization. Filming begins on Saturday March 20th and will continue throughout the year. I work full-time, so most of the filming will be done evenings and weekends. We may occasionally need to film during the workday, but this will be the exception.

This is a non-paying project, but it offers great opportunities for a cinematographer just starting out. We have open access to all major stakeholders in the project, and will interview government officials (including the mayor of Tacoma), community leaders, land stewards and neighborhood activists.
If this sounds interesting to you, please contact me and we’ll chat.

We are shooting low fi 16mm film productions and seek various filming locations. cafes, bars, clubs, houses, cabs, private entrances and exits, parking lots, front and back yards, movie theaters, boats, classic cars, beater cars, gardens, gallery's and any and all independent business locations. There will be no moving, changing or painting or any re-contruction whatsoever, where it lays it where it stays. Most of our budget is in the actual production of these films so we don't have the funds to change these kinds of details anyways.
We will give $50.00 to 100.00 a day whether we stay 2 hours or 7hours. All filming we be done around the owners hours of business or leisure time. This means we can come in after hours or when you say the best time to use the space is. We do not want to be in the way of your business practices either. So if you have a location that might fit and want to help out some independent filmmakers and make some extra cash for the help reply to this email for more information and a link or picture of location.

Also the productions do cary a small amount of production insurance for any and all incidentals. An agreement will be reached and signed before any shooting begins....

Looking to collaborate with serious indie film makers who are in need of someone to shoot their projects.

If you have a script already done, locations planned and a cast hanging out waiting for a videographer, then get back to me with the details.
Would like to hear what you've got going, and maybe we can get together and make it a reality!

This is a hobby of mine, and I'm just looking to get involved with someone who enjoys filmmaking as much as I do.

I'm in the north end of Seattle but would consider most anywhere in the Seattle/King County area.

I have a Sony HVR-Z5U HD camera which records in 1080/24p/30p/60i, DV and DVCAM.
It records directly to 32GB Compact Flash cards which speeds up post workflow tremendously.
I also have full flip and non-flip Brevis35 MP.1 DOF adpaters with a large selection of high quality Nikon lenses from 17mm to 200mm that can be used with this camera to achieve a cinematic film look.

The camera can also be used for "run and gun" shoots with the Redrock shoulder mount that I have.

I also have a Kessler 8-foot/12-foot crane with a fully-motorized pan/tilt head - perfect for those swooping beauty shots!

I have lighting equipment, UHF wireless mic systems, dollies, vehicle camera mounts and lots of other support equipment.

A simple boom box will not suffice. The place MUST have some sort of PA system or professional playback. Responses with no pictures of the location will not be considered. And though this is very low budget video, there will be a finder's fee because there will be no video without this location. ok. So I just posted an advertisement saying I wanted to form a theater troupe. Many, many people responded and many of them with long resumes. Now I am in need of a space to put the production on at. A stage, a room, something relatively wide. For the script I have written, sets are extremely minimal. So here's the deal I'm willing to offer. In exchange for a provided space, the provider can have seventy-five percent of whatever ticket sales may happen during this escapade. However, this is all,of course, negotiable. All I need is a space, so if you've got one, let's talk. |
