Frankly, I'm looking for someone who is a lot like her: a smart, responsible, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and conscientious person to clean my 2 bed/1.5 bath home on a regular, long-term basis. I provide cleaning equipment and supplies. If your clients would miss you, too, and you’re looking to take on another client, then I’d really like to talk to you. The regular weekly routine: • Wash, dry, fold, and put away all laundry • Change bed linens, make bed • Change/tend to kitty litter boxes • Clean all mirrors, chrome and tile • Wash and put away dishes • Clean all kitchen appliance surfaces, range hood, and sink • Clean stove drip pans, burner grates, and control knobs • Wash and sanitize countertops • Damp-wipe cabinet fronts • Clean/scrub bathroom toilets, showers, tubs, and sinks • Pick up/straighten each room • Dust shelves, furniture, and baseboards • Empty wastebaskets, take out garbage and recycling • Sweep, and mop and/or vacuum floors • Vacuum cloth furniture including under cushions • Sweep porch and outside walkways/pathways Some items that rotated each week: • General deep cleaning • Clean windows (inside and out) • Deep clean refrigerators and oven • Light ironing, polishing holiday items, etc. PAY: I started out paying my former housekeeper $15 an hour, but then just paid her a flat rate of $90.
