I'm a smart, fun, friendly progressive woman suffering from a chronic pain disorder that has re-lapsed and right now often keeps me housebound and makes it hard for me to think logically, and/or organize things, and generally keep my life in order. You'll definitely need some patience as this is for a 90 year old woman who is becoming increasingly confused. She keeps odd hours, so you would need to be prepared for that. She is ambulatory, she uses a walker to get around, but needs to be watched, as she's quite capable of forgetting to use her walker etc. She needs help with showering and personal care. It's not necessary to have caregiving experience; it would be ideal to have a very kind, compassionate homemaker who is otherwise retired, and doesn't have other demands on her time. If you've got experience in this field, all the better. Also, there's 2 cats in the house, so you'd need to be ok with that. Absolutely must be reliable and responsible and able to pass a background check. You'd get two days off a week, a salary (which is negotiable), full room and board (there's cable & broadband Internet etc), plus medical, dental & vision insurance, so your only expenses in life would be your personal ones. ]]>
