Consumers seem to relate and communicate easier with someone their own age. At the present time, we already have our older helpers but still need one or two people that are in the same age group as our younger consumers, to help at the Puyallup Fair being held at the Puyallup Fairgrounds in Puyallup, September 10-26th. You’d be calling people into our booth as they’re walking by to have their photo taken, which they can personalize for application to shirts, posters, photo necklaces and various size photos of their choice. You’d write up their order, take their photo and turn in their order in for processing. Eligibility requirements include: Must be between 20-25 years old, have friendly smile, outgoing, able to talk to people “Cold Turkey”, have retail experience including the ability to up-sell, have basic math knowledge to total up orders and count back change, able to learn quickly, be reliable and flexible, able to stand long hours and be available nights and weekends. Dress code requirements: Plain black/navy slacks (no jeans or shorts) - plain white shirt/blouse/polo shirt (no t-shirts, tank tops/spaghetti straps) - clean, comfortable shoes (no open-toed sandals or flip flops) - no facial, mouth or tongue jewelry (men-no earrings) - men's hair no longer than collar length, clean shaven (no beards or goatees)- mustaches okay. Passes for entry to the event will be supplied. Breaks and meal times are given. We supply bottled water but do not supply food. Please see below for further details: Dates, Locations & Times: (Hours may vary slightly 4 hr. minimum guarenteed) Bumbershoot Music Festival Saturday, September 4th - Times: 9:30am-9:30pm Sunday, September 5th - Times: 9:30am-9:30pm Monday, September 6th - Times: 9:30am-9:30pm University of Washington Football Gam Saturday, September 11th: Times: TBD, Game time 4:00pm Seattle Seahawks Game Qwest Field Sunday, September 12th: Times: TBD, Game time 1:15pm Staff Responsibilities: -All staff should be highly personable -Able to engage any and every consumer offering the product without hesitation -MUST have a great attitude and willingness to work!! Uniforms: - Staff will be provided a Short-Sleeve T-Shirt. - Khaki Shorts/Capris or Jeans (if the weather is chilly): Shorts should not be tattered, ripped, or frayed. Ladies nothing too short or tight. - Staff should wear white or grey tennis shoes !! ABSOLUTELY NO FLIP-FLOP!! No visible tattoos or body piercings (other than ears) is permitted Pay rate: $13-15 an hour depending on performance (Performance consist of punctuality, attitude and willingness to work).
