In other words, they'll spray a cleaning solution onto the carpet, and simultaneously extract the solution and soil from the carpet. This is where the problem lies, a percentage of the detergent that is put in your carpet is left behind in your carpet and it's not rinsed out. I'll explain why not rinsing your carpet isn't healthy for you or the carpet in a few moments. Stuck in your carpet, these cleaning solutions lie hidden in your carpet, doing damage that you can't see. Leaving this residue in the carpet can be harmful for 3 reasons. 1. A heavy residue can accelerate the resoiling of your carpet. Adhering to the fibers of your carpet this residue can attract dirt to the carpet. Like a magnet!
