| Hi there,

I'm a young professional looking for a room to rent on the Eastside with other friendly roommates. I'm originally from New York and have lived in several states and abroad. My undergraduate degree is from UT Austin and I also have a master's from Cornell University. Ideally I'd love to find a homeowner that is looking to rent out a room, but am open to other rooming opportunities. I live a healthy lifestyle and regularly hit the gym or the trails on the weekends. I also love to cook all kinds of foods, especially Italian. My cat, Bubba, is very affectionate and friendly. I clip his nails regularly and provide scratch pads to dissuade him from scratching his nails on furniture. I'm looking to move into a new place around April 1st, but am flexible with the dates if you are looking for something a little sooner or later than that.

Please feel free to email me with questions - thanks!

Melissa | so here's my situation. i moved here a few months ago from kansas to live wit my best friend and his significant other in their one bedroom apt. well things are getting way too crowded way too fast, and i really just want a room of my own. i am still getting back on my feet, i have two part-time jobs but am hoping to either get a full-time or two that are closer together (gas prices are really killin me). i unfortunately have a car payment, so alot of my money is gone before i even see it. i can't afford much, but i will give you what i can and help out with some food (i get EBT). i would also be willing to babysit (which i have alot of experience in, a CPR lisense, and references), cook, clean, or any other service you might need in exchange for some of the rent. i am a non-smoker, no drugs, occasionally i will drink (i am 21), but only socially and i usually go out n stay with a friend when i do since i have a strict no drinking and driving policy. i don't make a lot of noise, and i would respect any other rules you would have. i enjoy being outside, cooking/baking, reading, music, art, and anything else that sounds fun. im not worried about cable or internet (since i go to the library alot for internet, and i don't watch much tv). i am very open minded and never judge so please don't hesitate because of your situation. i would prefer everett or marysville area since that's where i work, but i would be willing to travel for the right situation. if you think you might be able to help me with a room or even if you know of a studio apartment i could rent for cheap, feel free to email me or give me a call at 620-480-1205 and leave a message. thanks! | Wanted: Professional couple seeking 3 bedroom 1.5-2 bath rental house with washer/dryer and modern appliances, preferably w/garage or carport (gas stove/ heating & fenced yard with fireplace a plus.)

Who am I, you ask?
I'm in my mid-20s and employed full-time through AmeriCorps.
I'm sweet, creative, friendly, and full of interesting information - I'm sure we'll get along.
I don't need a lot of space - just enough for me, a bed, a desk, some clothes, and my bike. I mostly want a place that will be comfortable and homey.
There is also a declawed, neutered, lovable and lazy cat that would be joining me, but he lives only indoors and has never caused property damage, so I'm sure he won't be an issue.
I also pride myself in my ability to keep my world and myself neat, clean, and cozy with very little use of utilities. I have incredibly low energy bills and would rather not waste unnecessary resources.

What am I looking for?
I'm seeking a small, cozy home starting April 1st. Ideally, a mother-in-law, carriage house, or studio apartment on personal property would become the perfect home, but I'm willing to be flexible I just really don't want to live in an apartment complex.
Even a garage or garden shed could do quite nicely if it had a lock on the door, an electrical outlet, a window, and running water. I'm an artist, quite handy, and would be willing to help you fix up a space that is currently less-than-lovely. Perhaps, there's a space you want help with so you could rent it out for a higher rent after I leave? I would simply prefer not having to invade your home every time I'd like a glass of water or to heat a small pot of soup.
I'd particularly like to be near downtown on the East side (think Bigelow neighborhood or near the Timberland library, for example) or in the West side (not too far out) because I'm a bicycle commuter. A little patch to garden in would also be lovely, but isn't a necessity.

Price Range?
Because I work for AmeriCorps, I don't have a lot of money flowing through my life. The less expensive, the better, but I would be open to talking about your space and hearing what you'd ask as a fair price. I refuse to put either of us in a position where I couldn't keep up with rent - so if it is out of my range, I will let you know.

E-mail me at the craigslist address above if you have any leads for me to look into
Thank you; I look forward to hearing from you! | Looking to only live with females and i dont have any pets, I actually really love them and will probably take em under my wing :)

Im living in a two bedroom apt. alone and im sick of it so i wanna move out and into my new place the first of April.

I am a clean clean clean person, and pick up after myself, and i love people who are very friendly and make it a point to be nice to others and respect others.

Im looking for a large room because since im moving out of my two bedroom home id like to keep some of the stuff i already have.
A basement would be pretty cool too.
I wouldnt be having guys spend the night, so dont worry about that, I dont do drugs either so no worries there.
I'm seeking a small, cozy home starting April 1st. Ideally, I would be able to find a mother-in-law, carriage house, or studio apartment to inhabit, but I'm willing to be flexible.
I would be willing to move into a garage or garden shed and do some painting and fixing to make it into a more inhabitable place - I'm quite handy. However, it would be best if the space had running water so I don't have to invade your home. I'm willing to help in the garden or with a compost pile if that's something you'd be interested in. Using as few utilities as possible is important to me. I pride myself on incredibly low monthly electric bills and don't want to waste your resources.

I'm 24 and employed full-time through AmeriCorps. There is also a declawed, neutered, lazy cat who would be joining me, but he stays indoors and has never caused damage to the homes he's lived in, so I'm positive he won't be an issue.
I'd like to live near downtown (East or West side) because I travel by bicycle and foot and would prefer not to add a bus ride into my daily commute.
I don't have a ton of money because of my stipend situation, but would be open to hearing about your cost expectations. Because I want to be a responsible tenant, if the rent is too high, I will let you know. I will not sign on for a rent that I won't be able to maintain.

E-mail me at the address above if you can think of any cozy nooks for me to inhabit in your neighborhood.
I know this post has been primarily business, but I promise I'm sweet, creative, friendly, and full of interesting information - I'm sure we'll get along.

I look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about me: currently an Oregon resident, started in Cali, clean, conscientious, good sense of humor, fan of music/art/food/travel/basketball/etc. I'm pretty approachable, self deprecating and will be able to pay bills/rent and whatever else on time. My internship will be quite intensive so I'm hoping to find a place that will provide refuge and little to no headaches. If you happen to have something open up, are looking for a good tenant or a great roommate, look no further. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. Thanks!!!

My name is David, I was just informed that the house I am renting is going to be sold, so I have to move. I am 40 yrs old, am 420 friendly, and have a medium sized dog (American Eskimo, 48lbs). I am an accountant. I spend a lot of my free time hiking and climbing. I am easy going, clean (but not anal about it), and responsible.

I can spend between 500 - 650 for rent, that depends on how much the utilities cost.

It would be great if I could stay in the Greenwood/Ballard/Wallingford/Phinney/Fremont area if at all possible, I might consider West Seattle as well.

I would like a place with a fenced yard for the dog to play in. Ideally you already have a dog that likes to play with mine while we are both at work.

I also need to have a washer/dryer on the premises, internet access, and a little storage space. I need to move by 4/15, but would like to move sooner.

Please list a phone number in your response and I will call you right away.

Thanks,
We are trying to find something immediately. A little more about us is that we don't party, don't do drugs, and smoke only outside. Must be okay with my children visiting every other weekend. Looking for someone gracious enough to help us out. It has been a hard year for us, and we can not afford where we are living right now. Need a better deal than where we are right now. I know there are still great people out there who still help people out. Please, if you have a place - let us know. Thank you! | We are looking for a parking space for our RV- We live in Wenatchee but have family in the Issaquah area that we visit often- We have a nice 27 foot RV that we would like to leave there so we don't have to bring it over the pass each time. Looking for something Private/Quiet - Electric and water would be great but not absolutely necessary, as the RV is self contained. I come over a couple times a month for a couple of days at a time and would like the option to stay in the RV on site. I primarily need the space during the school year. I am happy to send a pic of the RV if the appearance concerns you. We could pay between $50-75 a month, depending on the space so please email me with info if you have a parking space available. Thanks so much, Heather | I am a huge, huge person and it's recently come to my attention that I am supposed to "live" somewhere. I work at some cancer-research place part time, and have a science degree and fun shit like that, but you all don't care about those sorts of details because I am huge. Fatness is my "dominant trait". I'm almost certain that I could beat a polar bear in a wrestling contest, as long as he didn't cheat and use his jaws. Bears are assholes like that. I went to Trader Joe's today and purposely went to the checkout counter at the end because all the other checkouts would have involved my squeezing myself through like toothpaste. There are no fat people at Trader Joe's, so people were asking for my autograph and taking pictures. One time, I went outside and I could swear that my gravitational pull caused a car accident as a tiny Prius was pulled from its trajectory. I am very sorry, Prius driver, if you are reading this. I sometimes move from place to place against my will while a tiny, hammer-headed man rolls me around picking up various cows and trees along the way and getting larger by the minute. A bystander watched this one time and ended up making a video game, earning millions of dollars from the idea and never even sending me a penny or a box of doughnuts as thanks.

I don't do any drugs, smoke, or drink. But that doesn't matter because I am massive, and being a fat guy is worse than anything. I am very sorry that any of you have to look at me or be in my presence for any reason. I don't think that fatness is contagious, but just to be certain I try to keep my fatness within my own gravitational field. As gauged by the internet scale of hatred, being really fat is one rung above being a rapist or pedophile. I hate rapists and pedophiles, so I am so, so sorry for whatever my being fat does that hurts everyone. If I could eat hatred as a meal, I would probably just keep getting fatter and fatter and then go into some sort of fat bastard supernova, my fatty dust particles eventually gathering together to create new, little fat people. In summary: fat.

I am so fat, that I saw that fat toddler, Guy Fieri on the street one time, and he said "Damn, that guy is fat". Another time, Kevin Smith had a slap-fight with me for a Twix bar. We had to stop fighting as our amorphous blobs began to merge and achieve fusion, which would have possible set the atmosphere afire and exterminated mankind. Dom Deluise, John Candy, and Chris Farley all actually didn't die due to their obesity and health issues, but because, in series, we got so close in proximity as to become mutually-captured objects, doomed to orbit each other until a fateful collision and merging. I was the dominant mass, and so I won each round. This is a Highlander-like game that really fat men play. There can only be one.

As I type this, my laptop resting on my enormous belly, I realize that this request for housing could be mutually beneficial. I am probably large enough to house several lesser creatures, so you could potentially allow me to sublet my girth. In nature, many symbiotic relationships of this sort exist, such as small birds that clean ticks off of the backs of giant beasts in exchange for warmth, security, and shelter. If I am housed with you, then you can rest assured that you will be secure, because I will eat any intruders. As would-be robbers make their way through my gastrointestinal system, they can be reformed of their wrongful ways and provide me with delicious sustenance.

Also I'm poor and have shitty credit, but have never ever missed a rent payment. One time I actually didn't eat much food for a few weeks in order to afford rent, and I really love food. You don't fuck with your landlord, right? | im a navy submariner stationed on bangor base. looking for a room for rent, willing to pay around 450 a month. | 29 yr old Male seeks room for rent in Ballard. I have a friend moving from Cleveland in July and we are getting a house, so I am looking for something from April through June. I am a 26 year old male, I bartend downtown and I work for a liquor brokerage. I am clean, reliable, honest and respectful. I have no problem living with new people; I have been using craigslist for rooms for quite some time. I would like to stay as close to downtown as possible, but anything in Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Madison Park, Fremont, Wallingford, U District or Central District is fine. I am allergic to cats, so I can't stay anyplace that has them. Other than that I'm not too picky. I am looking for something around $400-500 a month. Let me know if you have anything available. Thanks CL!
