<![CDATA[This is a 1998 KTM 620. This is what they call there "Super Competion" . This is street legal and has a Wa. Plate on it. I bought this bike for my son and I to do the Oregon Back Country Discovery route on. Last summer. We had a gret trip me on my Plated XR650R. The bike came with a Baja Designs kit to make it street legal and was on the bike when I bought it, everything works good, no problems with Electrics, does not have battery or Electric start. Has a IMS 3.7 gal tank we re geared for trip with new chain and sprockets, has new seat cover and seat foam, we put on a Endurance speedo, before we left also. Needs new rear tire, will throw in other tire ( Not New) Went through most of bike before trip didnt really do anything to eng besides usual oil and clean. We used soft bags and tank bag on trip worked great. This is not a good "first bike" or ever day commuter. Please click on photo below and you should get other pics. <![CDATA[This bike comes with a lot of extras that I've added: windshield, running boards, engine (spill) guard, saddle bags, etc. It has less that 4,000 miles on it and also comes with a trickle charge battery charger for the winter (just plug it in and forget about it- it can't overcharge). It is in mint condition except for a slight scratch on the gas tank (which has been painted--see photo). It is a 5-speed and makes around 50mpg. Many people mistake it for a Harley due to the V-twin engines, etc. It is very comfortable to ride and the seat sits low to the ground to offer additional stability and ease to get on and off. I have gotten the replacement cable. My son is being punished for "continually being mean to his sister" so we're selling his buggy after numerous threats of doing so. This will also come with the rear fenders. Gino took them off cause he likes it better when their not on cause he gets "muddier". I'm not very mechanical otherwise I would have put the cable on. But our local lawn mower shop said they'd charge us $75 to swap it out. Like I said it runs really well. It runs on regular gas, it's a 2 seater, electric start, and has lots of meat on the tires. <![CDATA[My 00' ZX9R and I had a wheelie accdt. that left me with a hard lesson learned and a few scars but nothing major and my bike now needs plastics from front to back a new subframe (where the seat goes is twisted to the left), There's a dent in the left side of the tank from the left handle bar and the rest is minor scratches. I have a new clamp on for the left handle bar that I ordered for 50 bucks but never put on to make the bike actually rideable. Mechanically this bike is in tip top shape, engine runs fine sounds great, shifting is smoothest I've ever felt on a crotch rocket no need for clutch on up shifts, rear wheel is new only ridden about a month before the acct. . So the acct. went like this I was trying to learn to do wheelies and I went to far backwards and lost it tail first on the pavement at 75 mph the bike and I both slid down the asphalt for about 100 yrds or more but neither of us hit anything we just slid to a stop the bike was on frame sliders and just slid forever but thats why mechanically its in great shape. Might need a new chain for the rust thats accumulated on this one but thats about it. You could easily flip this bike by buying and fixing it for about 2500 total and sell it for 4000. It drives like a dream corners very well for a 900 yet has the power and top end performance that you would expect. Its been sitting for 9 months with no oil under a bike cover in my yard now and every time I look at her I want to fix her up and just go, but I just don't have the money right now. So, I'm selling my bike to rid myself of the temptation of spending money on it to fix it. My loss is your gain this is a steal for $700.00 pls come get it before I change my mind. Clean Title in hand paid off 26000? mi. on it I think or close to that. Price not neg. no trades and if this ad is up its not been found a for sure home yet so email me. Oh and pick up only pls. I've maintained them properly, and they've been garage stored at all times. I hadn't ridden in 25 years so both bikes got dumped plenty as we learned how to stay upright. Over time almost all of the plastic has been replaced on the 250X, so the bike looks great. I've also added Enduro Engineering radiator braces and skid plate, Cycra Probend hand guards, extra air filter, shop manual, JD Jetting kit and R&D's Flex-Jet fuel screw. I also purchased a Scott's stabilizer with the mount kit that I plan to sell separately.
