2 channels - clean and overdriven, with a master contour knob (mid scoop)

This little amp has served me very well over the years, but now that I have a really good amp I don't have much use for this anymore. For what it is, it sounds pretty good. It gets along wonderfully with any effects you put in front of it. You can actually get an incredibly thick fuzz tone running a Big Muff into the overdrive channel at low gain.

Honestly, I have used it pretty hard, but in form and function it shows no signs of wear.

This amp has been great for me but now that im a student ive found that it is more than i need right now and it hasn't gotten enough use lately so its time to sell it. This model is one of the worlds most popular combo amps and for good reason. If i didn't need the money so much I would definitely keep it cuz it sounds so good with its rich tube sound, which gets ridiculously loud. It is in great working condition, just a bit of rust on top around the knobs, foot switch not included, and the light doesn't work, which you can probably easily replace. Other than that it sounds incredible and as good as any other but for $250 less than it is new. It includes a cover and wheels on the bottom, which really come in handy since it weighs a good 40 or 50lbs. Here are the specs for it:

The Hot Rod Deluxe is the world standard for portable, powerful, full-featured tube amps. Awe inspiring Fender tone issues forth from a 12" Special Design Eminence Speaker fueled by a pair of Groove Tube 6L6 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes.
Product Features

* 40W amplifier w/all tube preamp and power amp
* 12" Special Design Eminence 8 ohm, 50 watt speaker
* Controls include presence, reverb, master, middle, bass, treble, drive select switch, drive volume, bright switch and standby switch

I have a jazz bass. It's a Squier but keep reading...
It's the modified Jazz like the one pictured here. http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Squier-Vintage-Modified-Jazz-Bass?sku=519639
A lot of people are snobs about these basses but they're actually pretty cool basses. But mine is even cooler because I ripped out the stock pickups and replaced them with Seymour Duncan quarter pounders. And I replaced the bridge with a Leo Quan Bad Ass II bridge. It's got sustain for days now; as well as a big fat meaty bass tone. I'll also throw in the straplocks and hardshell case I have with it.
I don't really want to sell as the bridge was around $100, the bass was $300, the pickups were around $120, the case was $60, and the straplocks were $20. I doubt I'll get $600 for this bass; though if it didn't say Squier on the headstock, you would swear it was at least a $600 bass the way it plays/feels/sounds.
So I'm thinking maybe I can trade it for other bass gear. I know it's a long shot but it can't hurt to try.
So if you want this one and have some gear to trade, get in touch. I could use a rack case and a rack tuner and power conditioner. I could use a four ohm speaker cab. I would trade for another bass. Pedals? Maybe a POD? Lemme know.

Not interested in: Behringer, Ibanez, First act, no names, homemade stuff, etc.

This bass has gotten a recent setup and plays like butter. No actual pics as I traded my camera for a Warwick thumb. But check out the link I provided and research my upgrades if you aren't familiar with them. This bass is sweet.

Martin HD-28 1991 - good player guitar. Classic Martin sound. Factory installed under saddle pickup.
Neckset is very good, action is good. There is some fretwear.
There is one significant ding on the back at the lower bout.
There isn't any strum wear or damage on the top, but the finish at the back seam has chipped off in a couple of spots.

Why no pictures? Because the buyer who won't waste my time won't need them. The description is accurate. The guitar is priced right. I have a commitment from a dealer who will be coming up here in April for the Vintage Show. You can own it now at this price level or buy from him at the $1,800 it will be marked at once he has it. A serious buyer will recognize that the price reflects the cosmetics and will play the guitar for a while to see if it's the one they are looking for based on tone and feel. It's fine with me if it isn't the tone or neck feel that you are looking for. I don't consider that a waste of time. This is real money and you need to make sure you like what you are buying.
However, if perfect cosmetics matter to you before anything else, this isn't the guitar you want. If sound matters, this is a very decent looking instrument that will serve you very well for a long time.

I'd rather sell it to a private party and save them the markup. If you're interested, email me for a test drive.

Gibson 335-S Deluxe Professional solid body from 1980, the first year of production
This is a lesser known alternative to a Les Paul, made only from 1980 to early 1983 and gradually gaining attention and value.
Very good playing condition. Some wear. This was a working guitar of mine for many years. No abuse.
Solid mahogany body, bound ebony fretboard. Premium tuners.
The original pickups were Dirty Fingers, which had an 80s sound.
They have been replaced by quality PAF type pickups, traditional 2 wire and therefore the coil tap is no longer functional.
In the current configuration, it sounds much more like a traditional Les Paul (and much better than a stock 335-S, in my opinion).
What you get in addition is the added fret access. Think of it as a cross between a Les Paul Standard and an SG on steroids.
Comes with the original Gibson hard shell case.
$1,075 cash price

Will also consider a trade for the right Martin acoustic (or other similar quality acoustic guitar) or a quality (US made) mandolin. For trade purposes, I will value this at $1,250

By the way, when I mention a trade for higher end music gear with specific examples, that doesn't mean that I want to hear about your fabulous gas grill, bicycle, $200 game device, etc. This is also true of music gear that you have been advertising for months at half my asking price and no one wants at any price. Please save us both the time and effort. Thanks. |

I got all this stuff and never learned how to use any of it. My friend and I wanted to start a band but this quickly faded as we got more interested in sports (and we were no good at playing music) , plus didn’t even really know how to play instruments, had saved money so wanted to try it out cause I had nothing better to do but our plans quickly changed and we went different ways. Anyways, my loss your gain. I Need to sell this stuff because im buying ski outerwear
Fender Squier Strat Electric Guitar- COLOR: Metallic Blue- Great condition, I have probably had it for 3 years but never knew how to play the guitar and was so busy I rarely played it and maybe touched it twice a year since I got it. There is some pick rub at the top from my pick hitting the guitar right before the string but it doesn’t affect how the guitar plays. Also I re-stringed my guitar to a higher quality set but I am terrible at restringing so it doesn’t look the greatest. 80$

Laurel Electric Bass Guitar- COLOR: American Flag- this was shipped to me about 2 years ago but have only played it two times. Basically used it as eye candy for my room. Waste of my money. I don’t know how to play the bass. For some reason ever since I got it, the strings hit the frets a little, I don’t know what it is, maybe I just don know how to tune it. but looks great, barely ever been touched. Although it has a missing string, onetime I tuned it too tight and it broke. 60$

Barely ever used I payed about 500$ for all of this but If you buy it all ill give it to you for $300 I may be lenient on some prices.

A German violin made by Simon Kriner, "Geigenmacher in Mittenwald an der Isar" 1812. It wasn't actually made in Germany because Germany as we know it did not exist in 1812--Bavaria was at war with Napoleon at the time this violin was built. It has a lovely lion head scroll. It sounds beautiful. This would be worth many thousands more if it had not been reworked. The original coat was refinished before it came into my family. It has been neck-grafted at some point. It comes with a case and a wood-ebony-cherry-mother of pearl bow. If there is anything else you would like to know about it, please ask.
REMS (Resonant structure and Electronic circuit Modeling System) is KORG's proprietary modeling technology for digitally reproducing the complex tonal changes caused by the resonance of an acoustic guitar, the cabinet of a guitar amp, the effects of the air through which the sound spreads, and the electrical characteristics of a vacuum tube or transistor circuit (effects). The AX1000G's 56 types of modeling effects cover numerous vintage compressor, overdrive, distortion, echo, reverb, and wah units that are expensive and difficult to obtain. Numerous simulations are provided, including the fat sound of tube amps, the raucous fuzz sound of the '70s, and the metallic distortion of the '90s. In the drive-amp section, "REMS" supports the hybrid gain structure developed by KORG. You even get unique lo-fi effects such as a tape echo that simulates the unique distortion produced by magnetic tape and the unstable pitch caused by irregularities in rotation speed. The Cabinet effect gives you a wide range of simulations that cover both vintage amps and modern designs, down to every detail of cabinet shape and speaker characteristic. The expression pedal lets you control eleven types of pedal effect in realtime-not only volume and wah, but also unique sounds like pitch bend and traveler (filter). Power-Paced Practise with the Phase Trainer - You can record up to 16 seconds from a CD/MD player or cassette, and then slow down the playback to as little as 25% of the original speed without affecting the pitch- an ideal way to learn rapid solos or difficult phrases by ear.The recorded phrase can also be looped for playback, allowing you to listen repeatedly. Plus, you can even hold a specific note. The built-in metronome is also ideal for fine-tuning your sense of rhythm. |

This is an awesome partscaster made up of very high quality parts. Very fast player, looks and sounds amazing- the mahogany body gives it more of a beefy tone than your typical strat and it just kills with dirt, especially w/ the midboost option kicked in. Some minor wear/few scratches (mostly on the back) but nothing major. Selling for $520 (parts cost around $1000). Lightly used Audix Drum Mic Package.
New this set would run about $900.00 I am selling for $600.00 it is as good as new. You pay $20.00 for insured shipping.

The Audix Drum Mic set represents an outstanding combination of seven microphones designed to meet the demands of today's professional drummer, both on the stage and in the studio.

Included in this drum mic package is the D6, Audix's flagship kick drum mic, two- D2's for rack toms, one D4 for floor tom, the D1 for snare, and a pair of ADX51s for overhead miking. Also included are four D-Vice rim mount clips for the snare and tom mics, and three heavy duty tension fit mic clips for the other three mics. Everything is conveniently packaged in a foam-lined aluminum carrying case road case for safe keeping when the mics are not in use.

THE MICS:

D6 - Kick Drum
The D6 has a frequency response of 30Hz-15kHz and is characterized with a cardioid pick-up pattern. The D6 is designed to sound good in any position and it is not dependent on finding the "sweet spot" of the drum. The D6 capsule features the same legendary VLM technology that has made the D series percussion and instrument microphones very popular for today's live stages and recording studios.

D1 - Snare
The D1 has the ability to capture the rich, deep resonance of the snare along with the attack necessary to cut through the mix. With a smooth and uniform frequency response of 50 Hz-16 kHz and an ability to handle sound pressure levels in excess of 140 dB, the i5 can be also used for a wide variety of instrument applications including percussion, guitar cabs, and vocals.

D2(two) - Rack Toms,
For bringing out the real, dynamic sound of toms or congas, the D2 cannot be beat. The D2 accurately reproduces the warmth and overtones of the instrument without sounded harsh or boomy. The D2, which is very natural and articulate, requires very little (if any) EQ, and because of the tight hypercardioid polar pattern, no gating is needed.

D4 - Floor Tom
The D4, which provides an additional octave of low end response beyond the D2, is the perfect companion for large toms and other instruments characterized with extended bass frequencies. In fact, the D4 responds down to below 40 Hz, a remarkable feat for a microphone of the this size and performance. versatility. The D4 is characterized witha flat linear response from 40 Hz - 18 kHz making it the most versatile of all the D-series microphones.

ADX51 (two) - Overheads
The ADX51 is a pre-polarized condenser microphone designed to handle nuances of recording as well as the rigors of live sound. Characterized with extended highs, excellent imaging, and high SPL capabilities, the ADX51 can be used for cymbals, high-hat, and acoustic instruments. The ADX51 also features a -10dB pad and bass roll-off filter, making it extremely useful for a wide variety of applications.

Features

* All-in-one solution for miking drums
I don't play much five string lately and want to pick up a new four string. I was just going to bring it down to Guitar Center and see what i could get in a trade.
