It's very hard to walk to main road, take bus...get back on bus get back in time to pick up after school. Everything is hard without a car, including getting essentials. I've never been this desperate. This has been an especially cold winter- my daughter has asma and the cold triggers it- over and over, the school is about a mile away. I have never, in my life, had to ask for help. I've worked my whole life and have never been in a position , where there was no money to repair or buy a car. (sorry-it's easy to regress) If you know anyone who doesn't need or use there car anymore- I'm not choosy- except it needs to be safe. I know its a long shot, but if you are driving from Oklahoma (or anywhere southeast of there) to Seattle in late May, and have a vehicle big enough to transport several bicycles and at least one other person, it could work.
