The apartment in question is located at the Parkwood Apartments in Mill Creek. The unit in question is a ground floor unit on the corner of the property with lots of privacy and no building next door with neighbors looking at you. It's a 2 bed, 2bath unit with a woodburning fireplace. It has hardwood floors and carpet in the bedrooms. The community offers a seasonal outdoor pool and spa and also a year round indoor pool and spa. It also has an indoor basketball court and workout room.

The location couldn't be better, walking trails, parks and nature preserves all within blocks of your front door. And did I mention the Mill Creek Town Center, it's loaded with all different types of shops and businesses, Central Market Grocery, Bookstore, Lots of Different Restaurants, Get a massage or do Yoga, all just 1 block away.

As stated the rent per month is $1209, this includes a detached 1 car garage that is an additional $125 per month, but if you choose you do not want the garage then you can forfeit it. The garages are limited availability, so if you get rid of it, there is a waiting list to get another one. Also included in the $1209 per month is a reserved covered carport that is an additional $35 per month, as with the garage, if you should choose that you don't want the carport, you can forfeit it as well. Without the garage or carport rent is $1049 per month, I recommend keeping the carport atleast, I feel it's worth the $35 a month to not have to hunt for a free parking space everytime you come home.

Anyway, it's a great one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of an old house in Eastlake, plenty of windows, a little grill, full-sized bed, down comforter, couch, TV/DVD (no cable), desk, bistro table, microwave, kitchen things, etc. I'm 30 year old guy, don't have any cheesy decorations, and the place is well-cared for. No pets, no smoking (ok outside), the landlord would want to run a credit check, and there would be a fully refundable $300 deposit. We share the kitchen, and grand room, bathroom and dining area. The room is on the first floor and very private on it’s own side of the 2.5 story log home. It measures 10 X 11 and gets the morning sun as it filters through the forest. It is furnished with an antique full size bed with a newer pillow top mattress, dresser, vanity and lamp, and has a large closet with hangers and shelves. Bed linens can be provided. You share a full size bathroom. There is high speed internet access –wireless available. You enjoy all the amenities of a hotel or B&B, but with the warmth and familiarity of a beautiful log home in the country with great housemates and their dogs.

The house is located on the Burke Gilman trail, 3 miles from UW, easy commute to Bastyr, with water access for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. The house is extremely spacious with a large living room, dining area, and kitchen. It is completely furnished except for the bedroom (which is rather small).
