Basically, I need a dog sitter/housekeeper/personal assistant. I am willing to trade free room and board (rent and food), in a friendly roommate type of arrangement for the following:

1) Minimal dog care - Be let the dog out once each weekday during the day (sometime between 10 AM and 2 PM ), feed the dog each evening at 6 PM, if I am not home yet. Walk the dog at around 7-7:30 PM if I am not home yet. Most days, I am home by 6:30 or so, and we would schedule the walk duty on a day by day basis, if that works out.

2) General house cleaning - keep the place picked up and dusted daily, water the plants every couple of days, vacuum all rooms weekly, take out the garbage weekly, etc. - basically about 30 mins - 1 hour a day.
<br>
3) House/dog sit if both my roomate and I are out of town. Maybe once or twice a year for a week we go on a camping trip, but usually take the dogs with us. I go out of town 1 or two additional weeks a year, leaving my dog at home.
<br>
<br>
That is it, in exchange of rent and food. Pretty good deal for a student or someone who works late at night/early morning, etc. If you have a dog too, that is fine, as my roommate and I love all dogs. We are both alergic to cats, however, so no cats. You should be aware that I play in a band and we practice 1 or 2 nights per week from 7 PM to 9:30 PM and either Saturday night (cutoff at midnight per agreement with the neighbors), or Sunday afternoon.

You need to be a very responsible person. If you say you can feed my dog, you better be there to do so. I can tell when he has not been fed :-) Basically, you need to be the responsible one, so I don't have to be. I will need rental and job references. Also, you need to keep in mind that if my financial situation changes drastically due to job loss, etc. Then the deal would be off, any you might need to move out or start paying rent, and I can do my own darn chores. We can come up with a contract that encompasses all of these points, to protect you and me both, and keep it fair. I am a pretty easy going guy.

In addition, if this works out well, I might like to expand the job into more personal assistant type duties, such as running errands, being a sober and reliable driver for my friends and I when we go out drinking, etc., in exchange for hourly pay.

This, of course, is all open to negotiation.

I have had offers from land speculators and bottom-feeders over the years. These are the slick guys who'll "buy low" and then try to"flip" a parcel like this for $20,000 or $25,000 or more over the internet, selling it to gullible people who live in places like Pennsylvania or upstate New York. So, the property has investment potential -- otherwise I wouldn't be getting these unsolicited offers from the real estate pros. (Last offer was in February from an outfit called "Land Research Foundation" out of Beaverton, OR)

Anyway, I won't insult you by asking $45,000/acre..... but I am <b>mainly</b> looking for similar (or lesser) acreage in Western WA in <b>rural places like Jefferson County or Clallam County or Grays Harbor County</b> where the land is just as raw (needs well, power, etc.) and is priced accordingly, but is also beautiful or in a beautiful region. If your land's in this category, we should talk.
