<![CDATA[I am clearing out the garage and need to get rid of some laptops that I didn't have the time to fix or complete. None of them work without adding the missing parts or some repairing. Prices vary depending on the model and condition of the laptop. Or if you only need certain part, I may be willing to part them out. I have several dozens of them, but I don't have the time to list the details of each one. So below is just a sample of what I have and what prices you can expect. I have many more that I simply don't have the time to go through. If you need something in particular, please just ask. The majority of what I have are Pentium III's, with some Pentium 4's, and some Centrinos. Everything is being sold AS IS, no returns. Note that none of the laptops have AC adapters or hard drives, and few of them have memory. I have some of those being sold separately in other posts. The first is a Toshiba Satellite A55. When you press the power button, the power light comes on, but nothing else happens. The laptop is missing the AC adapter, battery, keyboard, optical drive, and hard drive. It has Windows XP license sticker. $30. The second one is a actually a group of Dell Latitude C600, C610, Inspiron 4000, and 4100. I lump them all together because they are basically the same laptop, with somewhat different CPU speeds and trim/body colors. All of them have Pentium III CPU. They are mostly stripped, so I am just selling them for the working motherboard or working screen. The C600 and 4000 working motherboard with CPU is $15 each, and the C610 and 4100 working motherboard with CPU is $20 each. The working screens are all $15 each. If you buy both the motherboard and the screen together, you get a $5 discount. They will be sold with most body parts, like palmrest and hinges, etc. The third one is a Toshiba Tecra 8100 laptop, for $20. It has a Pentium III CPU (speed unknown but is supposed to be 450MHz to 850MHz), 14.1" LCD screen, and other standard features such as USB ports, ethernet port, modem, and 2 PCMCIA slots. It seems to have motherboard problem. The laptop is missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive/hard drive caddy/hard drive cover, optical drive, and memory. Cosmetically the laptop has some light scratches on the top cover, but everywhere else is clean. There are no cracks or breaks in any of the plastics. The LCD works fine so if you need the screen or the inverter, this should be good for you. I have several of these, in case you need more than one. The fourth one is a Toshiba Portege 7140CT laptop, for $20. The model number is PP714U, and the part number is PP714U-T2W8. It has a Pentium III CPU (speed unknown) and 64MB memory. The laptop powers up, but nothing shows up on the screen (sometimes I can see some faint random horizontal lines in the lower 2/3 of the screen). The video shows up correctly on an external monitor, and I was able to get into BIOS without any problem. The LCD screen is physically intact with no cracks or breaks, although it does have a scratch about 1" long on the left side. Due to the fact of no internal video and very limited testing, this laptop is being sold AS IS, with no guarantee or warranty of any kind on any of the components, and no returns or refunds. This laptop is missing the AC adapter, hard drive/hard drive caddy/hard drive cover, and the left "Alt" keycap on the keyboard. Cosmetically there are a few scratches on the top cover, but everywhere else is clean, and there are no cracks or breaks in any of the plastics. The LCD hinges and latch work perfectly. I am basically selling the laptop for the price of the working motherboard. The fifth one is a Toshiba Satellite 1135-S1553. It has an Intel Mobile Celeron 2.4GHz CPU. This laptop does not power up, and is sold for parts. The laptop is missing the AC adapter, battery, memory, optical drive, and hard drive. The keyboard is missing one key. There are no cracks or breaks in any of the plastics. There is Windows XP Home Edition license sticker (COA) on the bottom. The 15" LCD screen looks excellent. Selling for $30. The sixth one is a Dell Inspiron 510m. This laptop has a bad motherboard. It is missing the AC adapter, hard drive/hard drive cover, optical drive, keyboard, and memory. The screen and body are in excellent condition. Selling for $30. The 7th one is actually a group (or a lot) of 10 Dell Latitude CPx and Inspiron 3800 laptops (they are pretty much identical). These are Pentium III laptops, mostly in the 650MHz range although one of them is 450MHz or 500MHz. They are missing keyboard, memory, hard drive/caddy, CD drive, and AC adapter. They all have some problem somewhere, but should have either good working motherboard or good screen. Selling for $15 each, or $100 for all. The 8th one is a Toshiba Satellite 2800 laptop. It has a Pentium III 700MHz CPU. It is missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive, optical drive, and keyboard. The palmrest is very worn. The motherboard and screen both work perfectly. The battery board does not work. $30. The 9th one is a Sony PCG-F270. It has a Pentium II 366MHz CPU. This one actually works, but suffers from random shutdown. It is missing the AC adapter and hard drive, but otherwise is complete. Selling for $15. The 10th one is an NEC Versa SX laptop with a Pentium II CPU of unknown speed. This laptop turns on but does not boot (no POST). It is missing the AC adapter but otherwise looks complete. It has a good screen, good keyboard, and working battery. Selling for $10. The 11th one is an IBM ThinkPad A31. It has a Pentium 4 CPU. This laptop has a BIOS password so you need to crack the password before you can use the computer, or you can tear it for parts. It is missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive, and optical drive. Selling for $35. The 12th one is a Sony Vaio PCG-R505DL, model PCG-632L. This laptop has an Intel Pentium M Centrino 1.4GHz CPU. It is a working laptop but missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive and caddy, optical drive, and a bottom cover. $40. The 13th one is a Toshiba Tecra 8000. This one has a good working screen and good body plastic, but the motherboard has a loose power jack that needs to be resoldered. $15. The 14th one is a Gateway 9500. It has a Pentium III 850MHz CPU. This one powers up but won't boot. It probably has a bad motherboard. It has a good 15" LCD screen. $25. The 15th one is a Dell Inspiron 1200. This unit has an intermittent motherboard. It works sometimes, but other times it gives hard drive errors. The screen has a few vertical lines on it, but otherwise works. Missing AC adapter, keyboard, and hard drive. $15. The 16th one is a Dell Inspiron 5150. This unit has a bad motherboard. The screen works perfectly, and the body is in very good condition. It is missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive, optical drive, and memory. Most of the parts also wok in the Inspiron 1100, 1150, 5100, and 5160. $30. The 17th one is a Compaq Presario 2700. This unit powers up but won't boot, so it probably has a bad motherboard. It is missing the AC adapter, memory, hard drive, optical drive, and floppy drive. $30. The 18th one is a Toshiba Satellite M35X. This unit has an Intel Celeron M (Centrino-based) 1,3GHz CPU. The motherboard seems to be bad, as it sometimes powers up and sometimes does not. It is missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive, hard drive caddy, keyboard, and optical drive. $35. The 19th one is a Sony VAIO PCG-K14, also called PCG-9P6L. This laptop has a Pentium 4 CPU. The laptop will not turn on. It is missing the AC adapter, battery, and hard drive, but otherwise complete. It has DVD+/-RW (DVD burner), 15" glossy LCD screen, and built-in wi-fi. $60. The 20th one is a Sony VAIO PCG-GRX500P, also called PCG-8A1R. This laptop has a Pentium 4 CPU. The laptop turns on, but will not POST. It is missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive/hard drive caddy, and optical drive. It has a 16" LCD screen. $30. The 21st one is a Dell Inspiron 1000. This laptop powers up, but won't POST. It is missing the AC adapter, battery, and hard drive, but otherwise complete. The screen looks excellent. $30. The 22nd one is an HP Omnibook XE3. I have two of these. They both power up but won't POST. They are both missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive, and hard drive caddy. $20 each or $30 for both. The 23rd one is a group of Dell Latitude C800, C810, and Dell Inspiron 8000 and 8100. I lump them all together because they are basically the same laptop, with somewhat different CPU speeds and trim/body colors. All of them have Pentium III CPU. You need to get the password cleared before you can do anything on the laptop. It is missing the AC adapter and hard drive. $45. The 27th one is an HP Omnibook 4150. It works but is missing the AC adapter, battery, hard drive, and hard drive caddy. $10. The 28th is a pair of HP Compaq nc6000 laptops. They have Intel Pentium M Centrino CPU. They both seem to have motherboard problems (they turn on but won't POST). They are missing AC adapter, battery, hard drive, and optical drive. They are $50 each or $80 for the two. The 29th one is a Dell Inspiron 9300. This has an Intel Centrino CPU and 17" widescreen LCD. The motherboard works, but there is a problem with the video card and with the screen.
