<![CDATA[Having grown up here I have seen the decline in appropriate areas for the youth to be active; I watched Jackson park get picked apart and turned into a shooting gallery in the air soft fad; I saw the skate park torn down because of paint tagging and destruction, among other irresponsible acts. But what I have seen of late is worse than both the the previous offences combined, We allow our youth our children, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins to waste away in front of a sea of television and video games cramming over processed salty and sweet treats into there faces. I see is the generation, following my own, continuing the tradition of sloth and obesity with an ever worse case of respect both self and outward. And who is to blame for all of the you may ask, well look in the mirror as I did and see the face of the culprit. There is hope the very same person in the mirror can help turn this all around, and I have the plan to do it. I am working on a Not For Profit program called Spartan Academy. The goal of Spartan Academy is to emphasize the link between physical wellness and intelligence, by giving the youth a place to study and be active while showing the importance of mentor ship and community out reach we can teach respect and self worth to the next generation. This would be a free resource for kids 8-15 and and a small fee ($20 a month)for 16-18 year olds. This is not a free daycare service this is a place where kids choose to come and be active; kids would come in after school and complete there homework, then get proactive in fighting off obesity, learning anything from self defense to dance. Joining the program takes two things 1) the want to be healthy and 2) the signing of a anti-drug/anti-alcohol/anti-violence/pro-scholastic promise. The space would also be a place for adults to learn contact sports like Boxing and MMA. [Both are pronounced "use again"]) * Planet Aid * GAIA Movement (pronounced "GUY-uh") * Campus California TG (CCTG) * Institute for International Cooperation & Development (IICD) U’SAGAIN — a FOREIGN-OWNED, FOR-PROFIT COMPANY with a LONG HISTORY of POSING as a CHARITY — has HUNDREDS of its RED (and some GREEN & BLUE) CLOTHES DONATION BINS placed STATEWIDE. The state Attorney General's office says U'SAGAIN IS NOT PROPERLY LICENSED to collect clothes in Washington state! CCTG and IICD may be ASKING for MONEY DOOR-TO-DOOR or at larger RETAILERS. My children are3, and 5 this place was great for them they liked the part about just feeding the fish.
