She's very loyal and good with other pets, but our house is too small to keep her permanently and I did not want her going to a shelter. Her first home did not work out because of landlord/tenant issues. I will not just give her to any home. I really need to feel comfortable knowing that she is going somewhere that she will be loved. <![CDATA[Please, take a moment and look at this photo of four beautiful, sweet, healthy, adoptable puppies. All four of these babies were destroyed last week at JCAC. This facility is in dire need of a new location, a place where more people can see and visit it, a place that can provide heat in the winter, A/C in the summer, an on-site clinic and more exposure to get more animals adopted. Too many dogs are destroyed at this facility and please do NOT think this is an easy thing for these employees to do, they are left with no choice when there is such an overpopulation of dogs and cats. A group called A.D.O.P.T has found a building that is virtually ready to move into, which can help put an end to the suffering and loss of life in the current facility JCAC has. However, in order to get these animals out of the conditions they are in, and into this new facility, a down payment is desperately needed. I have created a fundable, which I encourage each and every one of you to go visit, read the story and please, make a donation if you are able. Time is of the essence here, we simply can't sit back and watch and wait and think somebody else will step forward, many lives are depending on us, I can't let them down. I have been volunteering for almost a year to help save animals from this kill shelter. Although I do not live in Jefferson County, or even close, I work very hard to get as many animals adopted or rescued out of there as possible. I live in St. Peters and our animal shelter sits in a great location, with lots of exposure and has a euthanization rate of virtually zero.
