We serve fountain soda at our free country music jam and dance on fridays, but due to the low volume of bag in box syrup that I use I have to stick with Coke only. Let me explain; Pepsi Bag In Box products only come in a 5 gallon size, Coke BIB products come in a 2.5 gallon size. We only have the jam 1 time per week (Friday nights) with an attendance between 75 and 125 per week average... 5 gallons would expire before I could use it all up. If I had 3 smaller corny kegs then I could put 2 liter bottles of pepsi products in them and run them thru the wunderbar with the coke products (without the carbonated water). The jam and dance a not for profit event that is free to the public and we depend partially on the sale of sodas to pay the rent and other expenses; when you compare the cost per fl. oz. of soda by the can and 2 liter bottles .. well, just let me say this, every little bit helps. We currently have a killer sound system, but because we don't own the building we have to tear down every Friday night (tables, chairs, sound system, etc.) and we are wanting to go with a system that weighs less and is easier to transport .. plus the Bose system sounds great. A furnace only would do the job this time of year, but a combo unit would be so much better for the all around package. A single unit would need to be not less than 180,000 BTU; a combination of 2 units of not less than 110,000 each would work as well. We are wanting to run the duct work thru the attic and blow it down from the ceiling is the reason it needs to be updraft. Once we acquire the furnace/furnaces we will need to find appropriate duct work to be run thru the attic as well. <![CDATA[ The American Legion Post in my hometown has a VERY SMALL job that needs done to be done to 2 downdraft furnaces .. I know nothing about the proper terminology for this job and people sometimes say that I am as clear as mud when I explain things but I will make an attempt to describe our needs. Furnace #1.) Flip the rectangular galvinized duct (under the furnace) to go the opposite direction (from east to west), cut and cap it to size, run a new piece of rectangular duct up to the ceiling (approx. 6') to join up with duct that we will relocate at the ceiling (to get it out of the way for events). The relocated duct either needs capped one end or installed as a 90 to join up with the new duct. Furnace #2.) Needs basically the same thing done only instead of flipping the duct underneath it just needs capped on one side and the other side needs a new piece connected from the existing duct on the ground to the relocated duct on the ceiling. You will need to supply the 2 pieces of connecting duct and any metal required to cap the openings. Let me know the cost to have this done ***cash*** and how soon you could start.
